Vida was engaged by IYG Phonetics to develop a replacement for a legacy system used to input data for Honda.  The current system had been built in house and was proving very difficult to input data quickly and it was also difficult to add new forms into the system as and when required.

We liaised with both IYG Phonetics staff and Honda as a key stakeholder to work out the most appropriate solution.  Honda provided an XML feed of all the data that generated the campaigns from which the data needed entering.  Honda also provided a Web Service for sending all recent system information to their servers allowing them to find out the progress of a campaign, and to get almost real-time statistics on their marketing efforts.

We presented and subsequently developed a web based intranet system that integrated both the IYG Phonetics user management systems with the Honda XML feeds.

The system was analysed, developed and rolled out in 12 weeks. No bug fixes were requested and the system generated a 300% (4 times) improvement in productivity over the legacy system it replaced for IYG Phonetics which ensured that Honda had reliable, and up-to-date information more quickly.
